The Moscato Rosa vine, native of Istria, is also widespread in Italy, particularly in South Tyrol, where it has been enhanced and wisely promoted. It is used to produce a dessert wine, purple-pink coloured, with an intense aroma, highly sought after by men, in particular to give it as a present to ladies.
